* In honor of National Gaming Day, the Linton Public Library will host a life-sized version of the game Candy Land from 10 a.m. to noon. Various board games will also be available for patrons to play all day. This is a family event, so everyone is invited to attend.
* Pleasantville United Methodist Church will host a turkey supper starting at 3 p.m. Cost is $9 for adults, $5 for children ages 4-10, and 3 and under will be free. Call 798-1079 for more information.
* The band Nosey Joe wil play at the Linton Moose Lodge starting at 8 p.m. There will be a breakfast afterwards. All proceeds from the event will go to charity.
* The Greene County Literacy Trivia Bowl will be at 1 p.m. at Saron United Church of Christ in Linton. Teams will consist of four people, and cost is $20 per person/$80 team. There will be prizes and free food. Contact Beth Burcham at 384-4125 for more information.
