What is some really good candy that is creative for making gingerbread houses?

Question: im going to a christmas party tonight w. my gymnastics team and we are making gingerbread houses. everybody needs to bring candy so what are some good ideas? thanks!

Answer: Get some little waffle ice cream cones, shredded coconut, and green food coloring. You can color the coconut and put over the upended cones to make darling pine trees. Regular shredded coconut makes great snow. If you can find those 100-Calorie Packs of Oreos, they make awesome

Not that poetry is dead.

“I think poetry is making a big comeback,” Lynn said. “I think that, in the ’60s, poetry, like a lot of cultural institutions, got a bad name as belonging to the preciousness of the older generation. And it’s taken a long time to recover from that. I’m actually astonished by how many people are involved again with poetry.”

He submits as evidence of the recovery the dozens of master’s programs in creative writing that have sprung up at colleges nationwide and the flood of applications from young people wanting to attend Kenyon’s summer writing program.

The National Student Poet program was announced on Nov. 21 by Mrs. Obama, who said that reading and writing poetry develops imagination and broadens horizons.
