Question: I want to make some really sour candies for Thanksgiving. The kids like it as sour as I can make it and I don't want to go to ebay.

Answer: hi Christy,,Lemon juice is pure citric acid, you could also add grapefruit juice and limes. Or if you can get a hold of sherbet. The bottled variety has other chemicals such as stabilisers and preservative in it. I hope this helps all the best
