Some items will be in a silent auction. Others will be available for a state price, and live auction is also planned.
This is the church's third year for the fundraiser. The sale will begin at 5:30, and the silent auction will end at 6 p.m. when the live auction begins.
The women of First Methodist are also planning an event for Dec. 1 featuring Times-Herald columnist Kathy Bohannon. Bohannon will be speaking at a dinner from 6-8 p.m.
Bohannon lives in Savannah and loves to visit Newnan. She delights audiences with tales of "humor and pleasantries." Some of Bohannon's favorite things to speak about are the front porch swing, a walk in the park, a day with the children -- encouraging people to reflect on the most pleasant times of life.
She enjoys sharing the humorous highlights of life -- interesting happenings along the way from childhood to adulthood.
Audiences quickly discover how crazy life can be with a husband, two children and a vast number of animals sharing the same slice of real estate.
