Cranberry Equestrian fundraiser

PLYMPTON – Saddle up Friday, Nov. 4, with the Vegas Valentinos for the Cranberry Equestrian Fundraiser at Reunion Farm, Plympton, at corner of 211 Main St. (Route 58) and Mayflower. There will be live music, from 8 to 11:30 p.m. Donations of $10 accepted at the door. Go and enjoy live music, dancing and fun with friends (there will be food). Hunt Youth Sports Leadership Program

KINGSTON – Sacred Heart School in Kingston will be hosting Session II of the Hunt Youth Sports Leadership Program from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 5 and Sunday, Nov. 6, on the high school campus. The sports skill and leadership program is for boys and girls in grades 6 through 9 and is funded through the William C. Hunt ‘87 Scholarship Fund and a grant from the Catholic Schools Foundation. Participants have the opportunity to work with skilled coaches and learn from special guest speakers. Main themes in the program are skills training, leadership, commitment, respect and responsibility. The cost is $30 per student and includes T-shirt, Friday evening pizza dinner and three-day program. The program is limited to 20 participants.
